Freezing weather with the heavy wind over the weekend did not stop hundreds of well-wishers from bidding fear well to their son, brother, friend, and father Allieu B. Kamara (BK). A man with many aliases (depending on the level you interact with him), but with one common one to many is B K.
The death of BK is a great loss to the Sierra Leone community in Northern America, especially Philadelphia. BK is known to be an “All-Round” mixer, from being a DJ, Soccer player (Footballer), founding member of Christ his Lord ministry Philadelphia, founding member of Salone FC, member of many Ordelay (Debul) organizations, and many other organizations within the Philadelphia region.
Among those present during his funeral service at the Christ is Lord Church are the general Overseer Pastor Gibrilla Bangura, the Leader of the Sierra Leone Muslim community Alhaji Alie Kondeh, Ministers from the Mount Zion United Africa Church Philadelphia, Pastors from the Faith Wesleyan Church of Philadelphia and many community Leaders.
According to one of the community leaders in Philadelphia, Mr Kebbie Turay, BK requested how to conduct his funeral, which includes involving all the organizations he belongs to and allowing all his organizations to perform their last burial rights per each culture and tradition.
During the repast, many described BK as friendly, loud, and proud of his community, Church, and cultural organizations that he belongs to. BK is also a member of both political parties, All People’s Congress and the Sierra Leone Peoples Parts, He will be missed by the Sierra Leone community.
