Jordan West African Methodist Church Murray Town Brotherhood last Sunday celebrated its 16th annual Career Day service with the theme ‘whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all they might” taken from the book of Ecc.9:10.
Delivering his sermon, Rev. Moses Ndown of Wilberforce Circuit, admonished all to do all their best in whatever sector one found his or herself doing with all honesty and commitment.
Professor E. M. John who gave the Career Talk, called on all young people to work hard, make good use of their youth with the fear of God   and called on all school-going pupils to take their academic work with all seriousness.
The service which hosts a good number of dignitaries among them the principal of the Sierra Leone Grammer  A.J Lasite,  read the gospel from St. Luke 21:5-19.
Father of the organisation, V. O Walker thanked all guests, and members who graced the occasion and asked first timers to continue to join Jordan church services every Sunday.
However, in an interview with The Brotherhood President Bro. Emmanuel George told AWOKO that they are growing in strength and the brotherhood is committed to seeking the welfare of its members and the growth of the church.
