Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – Sierra Leone’s Mas-Wrestling team is set to make its debut in international competition today, September 10, 2024, at the 5th World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan.
This marks the first time the Mas-Wrestling Association of Sierra Leone has participated in a global event. The delegation includes two athletes, Osman Koroma and Ansu Bakarr Kamara, along with the President of the association, Noel Kitami Horton, and Karifa Thoronka, Secretary of the Sierra Leone Tug of War Association, who will also attend meetings on behalf of his organization.
The Sierra Leone team arrived in Kazakhstan on September 9, 2024, and was warmly welcomed by the event organizers.
