3. Yvonne Aki Sawyerr
Yvonne Aki Sawyerr who happens to be the first female City Mayor since 1980, the position was last occupied by Dr June Holst-Roness. The Chartered Accountant won the position in March 7, 2018 General Elections.
According to records from the National Electoral Commission (NEC) Sawyerr who run on the ticket of the All Peoples Congress (APC) beat five other competitors (all men) to the seat.
4. SisterDora Dumbuya
Commonly known as Mammy Dumbuya, is a Christian evangelist preacher, owner and senior pastor of Jesus is Lord Ministries Church, a large evangelist Christian church located in the capital Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Mammy Dumbuya is an household in Sierra Leone and her church service and preaching have thousands of followers.
Recently her church became a home for expecting and delivering mothers and home for the less privileged.
5. Zainab Sheriff
Actress, movie producer, singer, model and Entrepreneur, Zainab Sheriff sparked up another uproar online after posting a recent video crying over rights to be part of Big Brother Salone. She was awarded the title of Most Fashionable Female celebrity in West Africa, a former
contestant at the Big Brother Africa reality show.
6. Haja Mariama Kamara (China Nicki)
Winner of the first Big Sister Salone, China Nicky have Inspires both educated and uneducated female entertainer in Sierra Leone. Nicki recently signed Brand Ambassadorship deal with Africell and Sierra Leone Commercial Bank.

Sunkari Kabba-Kamara is a politician and the current mayor of the city of Makeni. She easily won the Mayor of Makeni with 86.95%, over her main opponent. Sunkari Kabba- Kamara is a native of Bombali District in Northern Sierra Leone.
