4 himAs their support towards the fight against Ebola continues 4 HIM Sierra Leone, a Christian charitable organisation with supports from Komoe International Ministries’ have boosted Newton holding Centre with edible foodstuff.
The items donated are  40/50kg  bags of rice, 100  bundles of drinking water, five big bags of onions and twenty five gallons of cooking oil and other items including 92 Bibles, at the Newton Holding Centre.
Before presenting the items, Pastor Jerome Crawford praised the effort of the health workers and asked them to believe in the Lord Jesus because he is the healer and asked them to make use of the Bible always, as it is the book of life.
Presenting the items, Rev. Hassan Mansaray, President of 4 HIM SL, said the mission will also pray for the good health of patients but food will keep them going so that is why they as a mission will continue to do more.
Lab technician, Sundifu Tamba expressed gratitude to the team for their kind gesture as staff feeding is a concern.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Member of Parliament Claude Kamanda, Councillor Saidu Kargbo said the donation is timely and they do all it takes to distribute the food accordingly.
Later that same day, the team moved to Port Loko where they made a similar donation to the Port Loko Primary Health care and District Head Management Team in Port Loko.
Raymond Issa Kabia, Regional coordinator National Ebola Response Centre and Adikali Alpha Kamara District Medical Officer thanked the team for their support and the timely response to the national call. Raymond Issa Kabia promised the team that they will work very hard to defeat Ebola in the district and promised to give one Bible each to survivors.
